Abundance or prosperity? The subconscious mind takes things in a very literal way – as does the universe, which the subconscious mind is part of.
I hear so many calling out for “abundance” in their life – and when it manifests they are very often bewildered.
Abundance – “an extremely plentiful or oversufficient quantity or supply:” – dictionary.com
Now that means what it says – not specific to desirable, nor to undesirable…
As an “intentional” hypnotist, it is imperative that I understand the subconscious mind as well as language and the various meaning any one word might have in the mind of the subject. If you pay attention to my wording, I prefer to refer to prosperity when calling for a manifestation.
Prosperity – “a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition, especially in financial respects; good fortune.” – dictionary.com
You may be wondering, at least I hope you are, because if you are wondering why I referred to myself as an “intentional” hypnotist, I could justly assume that your are being attentive to the subject that I am addressing. I would like you to realize that we are all practicing hypnosis daily in a way – some of us do it intentionally, while the majority do so unintentionally and in a haphazard manner.
More details will be revealed when I publish a future post “What is Hypnosis”. Be sure to subscribe to my blog and follow my Facebook Community page so you don’t miss out. Unintentional haphazard self-hypnosis… Was it Henry Ford? – who stated, ‘If we think we can or if we think we cannot – we will be correct…” (Loosely quoted) He was addressing a form of self-hypnosis. To take this further – if you have a headache and you state that, “this headache is killing me” – you may be found correct, because the subconscious mind serves our commands without questioning them.
Many are proclaiming that stress is killing more people than most causes – I submit that it well could be our thoughts, which are at the root of this dilemma… Thoughts can certainly inflict stress – or they may relieve it if properly addressed.
I have now opened many avenue that we will be exploring together through my upcoming posts. Let me highlight some critical points before I continue – Be precise with your words – be aware of their power – choose them wisely…
A bit about my experiences, which have led to my expanding prosperity. I was born and raised on the west side of a capital city – on the outskirts of town – in an area similar to a ghetto. In an environment populated mostly with welfare recipients and drunkards, my family was the richest in the area. I was the only one in that area to enjoy a brand new family car every 6 years or so. My father owned a truck and hired it out, for which he was paid quite well. My parents seldom argued, while the majority of my neighbors had all out brawls and the police were often called to the scene.
I was blessed with wonderful parents and challenged by often revengeful neighbors who were jealous of what we had. This allowed me to examine the results of some very differing life styles.
In my later years I have visited Russia – and lived for a while in the south-eastern United States, learning a great deal about human behavior in both places. More stories about these experiences upcoming in future posts that I foresee you will enjoy and gain many insights from following. I am again in the western U.S. where I feel much more comfortable as this is near where I was born and raised.
I will soon be moving from the southern boarder of Utah with its desert climate – to the north-west U.S. – Washington State – near Seattle – to enjoy the forests, the great Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean. And why not relocate to where I will enjoy life more – I am only 66 years of age and I deserve another new start… It is not too late for me to start again and to do it better!
I remember well – my father stating when in his early 50’s – that he was too old to make any changes and he had to stay with the company he had his truck hired out to – despite the fact that his earnings were dwindling. My father died at the age of 56. The doctors addressed the cause as cancer – but I know it was due to his thoughts and the cancer was the symptom.
